An Eoq Model for Time Dependent Deterorating Items with Octagonal Fuzzy Quadratic Demand

Abstract

This paper represents an inventory model of time dependent deteriorating items under octagonal fuzzy without allowing shortages in inventory. Demand is time dependent and is quadratic in nature. The model is compared between crisp, fuzzy and octagonal fuzzy demand. The result is validated with the help of numerical example under fuzzy and octagonal fuzzy quadratic demand. The main purpose of this work is to find optimal cost under these constraints.
